There is a reason that we do not have MLAs decide on electoral boundaries. Tossing out the Electoral Boundaries Commission and replacing it with a UCP-dominated committee is not just a bad idea. It is really bad for democracy. Ask the US, ask Hungary. This is not normal!

Watched this this afternoon. I didn't even know there was a school shooting in Ottawa in 1975 (I was only a few years old). And she was an MP and in Parliament in 2014 when Nathan Cirillo (sp?) was killed.

I don't want someone to run gov't as a business, I want someone to run it as a *government*. It is the entire point of gov't to govern fairly and responsibly, and provide services for the collective that elects them. You want to run things like a business, Dani, then go work for a fucking business.
