This is an argument I've never understood. Not only are Russian and Chinese parts and munitions not compatible with Israeli weapons systems, but what would make supporting Israel such an enticing prospect to a country that already has allies in the region. Allies that Israel is opposed to.

There's a guy (ostensibly a liberal) on this site vehemently arguing that this is fake lol. If you've followed events in Gaza over the last 3 years, you'll know that this is exactly how much of the territory now looks. Large parts of it (e.g. Rafah) are even worse, i.e. completely flattened.

I'm the furthest thing from a Canadian nationalist, but comments like this fill me with white-hot rage. We do not owe courtesy to the US, and your average Canadian is in a *far* more stridently anti-US mood than PM Carney. And there's a very good reason for that.
