Luton Airport Parkway train station is barely 0.8 miles from the airport itself - it's obscene the car-centric design of that area means there's physically no way to just walk that distance and you have to faff around with a shuttle bus.

Here's an idea, make number plates a govt monopoly so it would be illegal not to have a govt issued plate. It's dull, low tech, saves money in the medium term and more effective-so not going to be done.

BREAKING 📣 For several days, a peaceful protest took place in the morning, after a young child was killed by a car driver. The child was riding his bike to school, the father with him. The grieving community came together with hundreds of people, cyclist or not, creating a 3km long human bike lane.

Tory leader Badenoch registers gift of £8,177 for Murdoch meeting in Greece. Travelling abroad to beg favours from Murdoch. What has she promised him? I wonder how far she has travelled specifically to meet victims of Tory austerity, real wage cuts and people queuing at hospitals and food banks.

The RNLI is the closest you will ever get to actual Batman. When rescue is visibly, viscerally, obviously impossible; when the water is a smothering, thundering black wall and the wind is screaming straight from Hell; when you are absolutely going to die: someone’s hand pulls you out and you don’t.

This should be the moment people finally realise that Farage has turned them into fascists. If you’re choosing this dangerous inhumanity over the rescue work of the RNLI, you’ve lost your minds to racism and hatred.

BBC London posts a video where someone injured by an e-bike rider (type of e-bike, whether legal or illegal, unspecified) says the danger from e-bikes is greater than cars. No stats presented to show that this is demonstrably false. The BBC's shoddy reporting is leading to more dangerous roads.

Treating women properly

It was astonishing to hear discussion of UK government posters and leaflets presented to asylum seekers to tell them how people in the UK should treat women - as if none of them would agree, as if none of them were women or children - followed by the story of Travelodge's CEO resigning because her customers can't be trusted to treat women properly.
