Ich orientiere mich an der Methodik von @zweitstimme.bsky.social von 2021 in einer vereinfachten Form. Das mache ich auch transparent im Gegensatz zu anderen Institutsprognosen. Ein Großteil der WKs ist bei mir an sich too-close-to call mit leichtem CDU Überhang. Das erklärt die Färbung.

Für FDP, Linke und BSW wird es sehr knapp werden. Die Linke hat dabei noch die größten Chancen in den Bundestag einzuziehen. Auch, weil sie wahrscheinlich 3 Wahlkreise für sich entscheiden kann (Leipzig II, Berlin Treptow-Köpenick & Berlin Lichtenberg).

Läuft gerade zäh für das BSW. Auch bei Maischberger konnte Wagenknecht keinen richtigen Treffer gegen Weidel landen. Aber das Paper von @leon-heckmann.de et al. dazu, wo das BSW seine Wähler herbekommt, ist nun offen einsehbar: journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/...

Unsere Forschung zeigt, dass wir wirklich nach unterschiedlichen Motiven und ebenso nicht nur zwischen zwei großen Wahlterminen nach Wählerwanderungen suchen dürfen. Wählerwanderungen sind dynamischer als es auf den ersten Blick scheint. Gerade bei einer neuen Partei! 📊

Schwächt das BSW die AfD? Teilweise! Das BSW war in der Lage neue AfD-Unterstützer abzuwerben. Wähler, die 2021 schon AfD gewählt haben, konnte es dagegen kaum überzeugen. Somit ist das BSW zumindest in der Lage den Aufschwung der AfD abzubremsen.

Was treibt Menschen zum BSW? Das wichtigste Wahlmotiv: Die Ablehnung der deutschen Ukraine-Politik. Das BSW überzeugt Menschen, die sozioökonomisch links, soziokulturell konservativ eingestellt sind. Die Unterstützer positionieren sich selbst als ideologisch mitte-links.

Die GLES Paneldaten ermöglichen es verlässlich (!) die Wählerwanderung zum BSW zu ermitteln. Wir zeigen, dass das BSW zwar viele Wähler anzieht, die 2021 Linke oder SPD wählten, aber eine große Gruppe dieser Wähler wechselte seit der BTW zur AfD, um dann zum BSW zu wandern.

✨Sci Comm✨ Das #BSW war zumindest in der Lage, den Aufschwung der AfD abzubremsen. Das BSW hat aber nicht die Kur gegen die AfD gefunden. Das zeigen die aktuellen Umfragen. Freue mich sehr, dass @vorreyer.bsky.social mein erstes Paper für den Stern aufgegriffen hat. Mehr dazu sehr bald!

Methodisch habe ich die Daten der GLES Wellen 25 & 26 analysiert. Mit der Welle 26 wurde zum ersten Mal die BSW Wahlentscheidung nach Parteigründung abgefragt. Mehr Details im Blogbeitrag.

Insgesamt zeigt sich, dass BSW Wähler:innen, entgegen der Einordnung des Wahlprogramms, auch ökonomisch eher konservativ sind. Ein klares "links-autoritäres" Selbstbild zeigt sich nicht. Das Politikfeld ist, auch mit dem BSW, eher linear.

In der gesellschaftlichen Dimension stimmt die Selbsteinschätzung der BSW Wähler:innen mit der Einordnung des Wahlprogramms zur EU Wahl überein. Hier sind BSW Wähler:innen konservativer als SPD Wähler:innen und auf der Höhe von Union und FDP.
