So there is a fake Comic Fury app in the google play store (see pictured). Don't download this, it's not real. The real Comic Fury site is not owned by the developer and there are no microtransactions. Please help Kyo, the real creator and owner of Comic Fury, by reporting its ass.

Do some people not know what the word smut means? I just saw someone say a comic on Webtoon 'has too much smut"...what??? Y'all Webtoon will take you down for a hint of titty. What in the WORLD do they think smut means? Are we getting to the point where people think off panel sex is smut?

Sometimes I log on, see a post with 20K likes (!) claiming "an author's characters always reflect either the author themselves or who they wish to be" and I just close the internet 💀 And then those same people harass any author who creates a character with more depth than a piece of cardboard

“Consumerism as activism” can be a questionable tactic… but it’s worth noting: if you all see COYOTE VS ACME this weekend and make it a giant hit… you will specifically humiliate David Zaslov and make him miserable… while also seeing an entertaining and heartfelt movie. The definition of win/win.

Not to soap box about this but i feel that ppl in the english indie comics space should hear it: creating doujinshi/self published comics without the stamp of a prestigious fair or an indie publisher does not make you any less of a comic artist. drawing comics makes you a comic artist.

Leaving @lennonrook.bsky.social 's DTIYS #faroffdtiys2026 to the artists because I'm only confident in copying. 🫣 But here are some copies of my favourite panels. Let's start with Miss Sofia Mittens. It's a section from a Valentine's Day special.

Pencil drawing of a black and white cat. She is laying comfortably on her paws with closed eyes, the tail in front of her.
The drawing is on the page of a little notebook with squared paper. Some of the lines were erased and drawn again.

The original picture of the cat "Miss Sofia Mittens" from the comic "Faroff" by Lennon Rook (Valentine's Day 2024).
Description from the comic: "She has a beautiful black coat with white fur on her face and a white tipped tail, a white mane and yellow eyes, white on all four of her paws and the tips of her ears."
It's a section of a larger picture. The cat is laying on a lap, a hand is petting her back.

Yes, you can! Follow your heart, Laibrook!!! We believe in you! The Bard and the Messenger is due out by the end of this month! Add it to your Goodreads or Storygraph shelf/up next 💖 It is a queer fantasy roadtrip romance with a trans protagonist 🌈🏳️‍⚧️

A graphic titled "The Bard and the Messenger." It depicts a character embracing another character from behind. He wears fantasy clothing with an instrument at his side, a flower crown on his head, and large wings open. The man he embraces wears light leather armor and holds a bow.

Some text from the book is shown near the characters, reading:

You’re supposed to be a bard, so why are words so hard?

He scribbled angrily in his journal, cursing at how difficult it was to pin down the mood of those songs.

His eyes slid across the ground again towards Einar. Those tall boots, the bit of slim-fitting black pants visible beneath his layered leather armors. Laibrook wrote “pants” in his journal and stared at it.

I can’t just write about tight pants, can I?
