Super annoyed that Storj.io who I've been using for remote backups of important stuff for several years now, are putting a monthly minimum of $50 on their services. I currently pay them about $6.40 a monthy, to store ~1.2TB. Now I have to find somewhere new to move everything before the 1st July.

Volkswagen have blocked third-party access to their API - news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4831... I really liked being able to pull data about my own car into Home Assistant. The automation I had set up to ping my phone if I'd left the car unlocked was really handy. And now it no longer works :(

I'm not sure this graphic from Suffolk Recycling is as easy to read as they think it is. So I'm guessing, from June, cardboard boxes and newspapers should be placed in paper bags. Eggboxes and junk mail into a household green bin. Books, shredded paper and QR codes go in commercial green bins 🤔

I've been meaning to cut down my usage of Amazon Prime and ordering directly from other companies. First time and my parcel has gone missing at the courier. They keep sending updates that seem like outright lies at this point. We've come along way from "allow 28 days for delivery", but also not.

Saw something recently that resonated. If you manage folks with ADHD you have to understand their motivators: Novelty Interest Challenge Urgency Passion If something is boring and non-urgent for example, it’s very difficult to do. You *cannot* motivate by threatening consequences.
