How do they not understand that to vote “no” is a way of saying “we don’t trust this regime no matter how ‘reasonable’ your candidate seems, and we are not going along with this?” A regime that pulled Bondi et al is not a regime to be trusted. As for Fetterman, I think that’s a bait and switch.

That’s interesting. And also, presumably, the social conditions that led to the wet nurses’s poor health, indeed the impoverished conditions that likely led her to having milk at all as a wet nurse (perhaps because her own child had died?) were also rarely considered. #skyhistorians

Most scholars I know--affiliated or not--just want access to resources behind paywalls--subscription journals, databases, books. No one I know is going "gee I wish I had AI tools to mine those resources for pithy, questionable syntheses." They can't even GET TO the resources. THAT is what they want.
