The new Ghost album is so good, I've been listening to it all morning. It's so melancholy and really leaning into that goth ideology they're playing with in terms of costumes and aesthetics. I think Peacefield is my favorite so far.

Fancy bébé. Postcard from my collection, ca. 1910.

Creased old postcard bearing a painting of a fluffy white kitten wearing a pink bow on the side of his neck. It’s looking at the viewer as if it know exactly how cute it is.

I finally solved part of the logistical problem for my novel last night and I'm so excited. It's hard to come up with original ideas for immortality while trying to stay away from the fantasy or scientific reasoning. This story is turning into something really cool. #htkai

Going to a small anime event tomorrow night and needed a jacket for casual Hawks. The guy that was checking me out was wearing a Villains League shirt. I swear, my life is a bit.

Just sat through the biggest and longest tattoo I've ever gotten so far (quarter thigh piece for about 4 hours). She's not done but when she is, she'll be absolutely stunning. Totally worth it.

In honor of getting tickets to one of my favorite bands, #glassanimals, here's some #art I did based off of #heatwaves! I've been a fan since love 2016 and they are one of my all time favorites. So excited to finally se them in concert.

A digital art piece of a man sitting in a pool donut from a bird's eye view. A towel is next to him on the edge of the pool with a phone going off. Digital alteration create pink and blue waves across the piece.

I just bought a bigger button maker so now I can make character buttons! I have like 120 small button designs but I've been wanting a larger ones specifically to do characters (more details/looks better imo).

Here's a silly sketch of Austin I keep meaning to post because it lives rent free in my head. #art #htkai #oc #originalcharacter

Austin, a late 20s blonde male with a green and blue eye, holding a smiley coffee cup in one hand and his other is in the pocket of Tetris patterned pajamas. There's an arrow point to the cup thats says "Diet Coke".His shirt reads "I'm the psychotic dad everyone warned you about", with emphasis on "hot" and "dad".

I should probably actually post some #art on here lol. Here's a #technoblade piece I did for a gift exchange over on Tumblr! All they wanted was Techno with a sick sword.

Technoblade holding a giant glowing diamond out in front of him. There's purple enchantment magic around the sword and his arms. He's set against a dark background with purple sparkles around him.

Keith Haring died of AIDS aged 31 on 16 Feb 1990. One of his last works, Unfinished Painting, was deliberately incomplete, reflecting the devastating, unquantifiable loss to the arts due to AIDS. #LGBTplusHistoryMonth

A square canvas. Only the top corner is filled with Harings distinctive figures, rendered in Lavender, the rest is blank.

A couple years ago, I came up with this fic idea called "Free", based on the Mother Mother song. It was a college/coffeeshop AU for a very popular fandom. While the hyperfixation for that fandom has died, I've been thinking about turning it into a webcomic. I still have all the notes and plans...

“Sauve qui peut”. This is a French phrase that translates to something like “run for your life!” or “every man for himself!”, indicating a chaotic or dangerous situation. Postcard from my collection, no date/info.

Black and white photo of a shorthaired tabby kitten appearing to burst through a sheet of white paper in a dark frame. Text at the bottom reads “sauve qui peut”.

A love letter to my favourite ADHD trait; Hyperfixations ❤️

A digital greyscale comic page depicting Anton, a waifish white heraldic unicorn man, going through a hyperfixation.

The narration in panel 1 says “It’s kind of unpredictable when it happens, and unfortunately I can’t make it happen at will. But occasionally something will shift within me, and it’ll never quite shift back.” In the panel Anton is floating in the air, grasping a potted plant in his outstretched arm, surrounded by other house plants.

The narration in the next couple panels says “At first it’s so intense that it consumes me; My thoughts, my day, really my entire life. I become unnervingly well informed unsettlingly fast, mainly because I’m spending all my waking hours learning.” The next 4 panels are small ones, each depicting a different house plant.

In the next panel Anton is watering a tall potted plant. The narration says “It fades slowly but surely; It never quite goes away.”

In the next panel we see his iPad in his lap as he draws a comic on it with his Apple pencil. The narration says “Often it’s replaced by something else.”

In the last panel we see Anton sitting on a couch under a blanket, still drawing on his iPad, still surrounded by his many beloved plants. The narration says “The love is dormant, but never dead. It will reawaken when it sees fit.”

Making yourself dependent on external appreciation is very dangerous. I did this and it ruined how I perceive my own art: I started to hate my art even though the moment before I posted it I was content with it. So don't let this negate all your positive feelings you had towards your work.

In 2016, I was still in high school and at my lowest point. Things felt like they were spiraling out of my control. So I created a dystopia world where LGBTQ rights were completely stripped away and the main character (totally a self insert) fought for justice. Maybe I should pick it back up...

One thing that always makes me feel so much better about my art, and how "me" it is, is by thinking "if I would've shown this to 12/14 y/o me, how excited would they be?" And most of the time, I feel like they'd be so happy to see they'll eventually make this 🥹
