Apologies for being so inactive here. A lot is going on... But! I am working on a new video, at least.

When I see a cool reel/post idea I think "yes! That's so clever. Why didn't I come up with this?" I guess I am bad at playing "content creator".

I always wondered how artists achieve this luminous coloring effect. The key is reflected light. For my new video I tried to understand how it works: youtu.be/YO6Dnoq--bQ

Here is one of my newest artworks. This will be available as a print at my next convention (Krähenfee, Krefeld, Germany) and hopefully later in august as an acrylic standee. ⚔️ #fightthepatriarchy #procreate #artwork #art #illustration #knight

female knight standing on top of the skulls of her enemies, holding a banner that says: fight the patriarchy!

Is this just me or do other people feel ashamed as well when a drawing flops (on social media) and you delete it because it's not "good enough"?

I don't know if people care for what I'm currently drawing. But I am having fun and this feels good, it could feel better if I wouldn't care for external validation...

The dilemma between having fun drawing but worrying that it's a waste of time because it's not meant to be shared online...

Man I have such a cool concept for an OC of mine. A bit edgy but that's okay. (rarely praising myself but i think that's a cool idea. Hope to be able to draw it!)

It frustrates me that I don't seem to have an "artistic aesthetic". I really liked the desaturated illustrations I did few years ago. And now I try to please everyone. But that's just impossible. I lose the connection to my roots and what I really want.

When you have to zoom in into your art to see if something looks good then something isn't right. Art on the internet has to work on small displays, compressed to hell. You won't spot the mistake from a distance you're trying to fix.

I did this in 1h since closing social media. Rendering clothes is fun^^

One tip to draw faster and actually get art done: close this tab and open your drawing program. (if you're still here: I noticed endless doom-scrolling makes me frustrated and the motivation to start drawing decreases)

One thing which makes art so complicated for me is that I can't decide on a style. I'm always worrying that the current illustration is out of character. This makes me experiment less which would be the key to improvement.
