Worth noting that roughly 1 in 10 Americans think that COVID vaccinations contain tracking microchips. 1 in 4 believe the Sun revolves around the Earth. And in case you think enlightenment is coming, among younger US citizens 10% to 16% believe the Earth is flat, or are “not sure”. US votes matter.

What a great article. The unseen effect of the mostly US tech driven businesses becoming gatekeepers to what we all used to enjoy (live music, experiences, stays etc) is that 15% or more of our money is leaving Wales and the UK along with all our data …whereas it used to recirculate.

Those of us involved at the bottom end of renewing housing stock in Wales know that more could be done if “local” SME house builders were supported rather than thwarted by local authorities and lenders. Still, this is valuable and important reporting.

Poor judgement. Just because there is controversy in any issue doesn’t mean it can’t be dealt with evenly. Even if @evanhd.bsky.social were evangelizing, BBC presenter bias in other issues (such as farming) seems to be fine. Trust the audience, maybe.

Spot on. It not only counts but it is the most rewarding form of growth of all. It’s essential. The game is fixed however as growth needs funding, permitting or planning and requires huge effort, patience, lobbying and resource that the small guys don’t have.
