We all know that paintings of flowers are one, but is it any kind of recession indicator that I’ve spent the last year photographing a LOT of exhibitions that are basically just completely dark rooms?

The Ontario government is ghoulishly cruel, greedy, and the limits of this know no end. Making school supplies more expensive for teachers, ripping out bike lanes, destroying parks for mega-spas, closing science museums, underfunding healthcare. Incredibly frustrating that there’s no end in sight

Every conversation about bike lanes is like: "Car crashes kill a huge number of people every day, including pedestrians, cyclists, & car occupants. Good bike infrastructure has been shown to make everyone safer (& doesn't increase congestion)." "But sometimes cyclists break rules & hit people!"

Two men climbed onto the food truck behind my apartment, singing along to an Italian song with their arms around each other. The song ends, they climb down, sing the next song while hugging in the parking lot until, 2/3 through, one of them starts to violently vomit. Toronto summer energy is here

They released numbers once & shut it down bc humanities were producing huge $ for uni & engineers, business and scientists were losing $

The one line movie zingers on Letterboxd are more tolerable than the droning, endless “reviews” of books on goodreads that can’t do anything beyond summarizing the plot. I keep finishing monumental books and looking for reviews that put how I’m feeling into words but keep finding only synopses

The most selfish, warmongery people alive on the planet getting together in a group and calling it the “board of peace” is just how stupid things are now. Trump at this point may as well assemble himself, Bill Cosby, and Harvey Weinstein into a club and call it “the cabinet of consent”
