randomly giving out genuine compliments is such an easy way to make the world a little nicer, i'm always surprised more people haven't figured that out and have a ton of respect for those who have
Screenshot of tweet by Eminem. Text of Eminem's post reads:

I'm sorry we never got a chance to meet, but getting this note from Dolly really had a an impact on me. She definitely didn't have to take the time to do it. Even for a kid who mostly listened to rap music, she was an icon. A superstar in every sense. Rest easy Dolly. And thank you for the kind words.

Attached is an image of a classy and generous letter Dolly Parton sent to Eminem after missing a chance to meet him at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Ok, here's a Sunday scary for you - did you know that in every county in Ireland, women are earning less? I've categorised the company pay gap reports by location, and everywhere has a mean pay gap in favour of men, and almost everywhere a median pay gap in favour of men.

In Ireland we have interdependent communities. We know this inherently. We have come through serious trauma on multiple levels nationally. We can't let our fault lines be manipulated. We have a rural urban divide and haves and have nots. But if there is one thing we know how to do here it's talk.

You can probably support the working class and demand support for people who are struggling because of capitalist inequality and also not pretend massively bigoted rhetoric and action isn't happening or being Trojan-horsed in under the guise of taking down those in power, by the way.
