Sorry for the long wait for my October schedule. I was recovering from dental surgery! If you're looking for Tokyo yoga/fitness classes in English (or online from anywhere), I've got you! And if you'd like to do a trial lesson, it's ¥1000. I'm bad about checking here, so ✉️ on insta if you have ?s.

I almost never post on here anymore...oopsie! But I like to remind folks every now and again that I run a small accessible yoga and fitness studio in Tokyo (Asagaya)! If you're looking for a welcoming place with small group (or 1:1 classes) in English, happy to answer any questions!

my buds and i are linking up to do a training series for Minnesotans that want to help change the narrative this election season by creating short video. a lot of us resist creating video content, but the algorithm thirsts for it and our opponents have a lot of ad money we need to compete with.

SNAP has an outstanding ROI: every dollar we invest in SNAP generates $1.54 in economic activity. With SNAP cuts, people can’t continue to support these local grocers, so local businesses suffer. Everyone loses.

People will do just about anything to get skinny, but then deny the severity of fatphobia and how it affects people's lives. And of course it's always because of concerns for "health". 🙄

In 2017, Criselda Vasquez painted this portrait of her parents and titled it "The New American Gothic." Last month, her father, the man in this portrait, was abducted by ICE after being in the US for 30+ years. The family is now struggling with bills. A GoFundMe has been started: gofund.me/456d8a193

A painting of a man and a woman standing in front of a red Chevrolet truck. The man is holding a hoe; the woman is holding a bucket with house cleaning supplies.

The artist's two parents stand proudly in front of the painting.

I don't know but in my experience people who have brought alcoholic beverages to my yoga studio events (explicitly sober and no outside food/drinks; on all the event flyers, signs, etc.) weren't from the US, so I do think some folks are just entitled. Not to say US-ians wouldn't.
