Why am I being fed ads on Youtube (still image as I scroll through feed) for cigarettes which can be delivered anywhere in Australia in 3 days? Advertising tobacco in Australia is illegal. I've reported this ad multiple times. You're telling me YouTube's AI can't immediately recognise cigarettes?

Barely hanging on here in anticipation of the Zelda Direct in around 34 hours. It'll be midnight for me, but I'm very prepared to be utterly shattered on Wednesday morning to watch it live. Ocarina was a formative gaming moment for me, I'm so excited to see what they've been working on.

I played the original on 64 at release. It was the first game that really made me love gaming for the storytelling potential. I've played almost every Zelda since then. Now I play them alongside my daughter, we're unbelievably excited for the remake. Let us show that joy and love for Zelda in an ad!

Personally I think it's down to very vocal people who are defiantly resistant to change at the behest of any authority, but for Wilson it's a really simple thing to say "Common Sense Solution" because building understanding of the complexity behind waste sustainable management is much harder

There are legitimate arguments against it for some households - large share houses, families with multiple children in nappies etc. - but there are also applications for for frequent pickups for those kinds of circumstances so it's really mad to me that so many are so vehemently opposed.

All winter I've not been wearing blue jeans because the pair I had - 38 waist, usually very comfortable - were feeling unreasonably tight, which was quite depressing. This morning I realised I had a pair of 36 and a 38, the latter buried at the bottom of the drawer. I do not feel smart.

I filmed an audition this week for a US film. Today a work colleague (also actor) said "you should try to audition for [ThatFilm], I got the script and was thinking of you while I read it, you're so right for that film!" Realistically, still a longshot. But DAMN that was nice to hear.

She'll be ok, a lifetime of orthodontics ahead of her which is tough, but could've been far worse. I just can't stop seeing it happen. I know I couldn't have done anything, short of stopping her from riding the bike down a small hill. But I'm so angry at myself. And so, so sad for her.

Kid went flying over her bike handlebars today and smashed out a front adult tooth, cutting up her lips quite badly. Blood everywhere. Carried her home, running. Emergency, the an Emergency Dentist, then driving 90 minutes to Royal Children's because only they really have expertise.

Now, the venue costs are brutal and the touring novelty shows, entertaining as they may be, gobble up the available audience spend. How any young artist without independent wealth puts something together with a hope of building a career and community is beyond me.

It'll be $90 for the cheapest ticket, the people who go only because they know the film will think good thoughts because they've gone to the theatre and won't have money for other theatre excursions, it won't bring new long term audiences to the sector, and Indies will keep disappearing.
