Why am I being fed ads on Youtube (still image as I scroll through feed) for cigarettes which can be delivered anywhere in Australia in 3 days? Advertising tobacco in Australia is illegal. I've reported this ad multiple times. You're telling me YouTube's AI can't immediately recognise cigarettes?

I'm very lucky to own a house so don't want to complain, but it comes with come super mundane seemingly pointless shit. Each year I need to clean strip and restain the deck. It takes a whole day, usually in hot weather. At the end it looks.....basically the same as before. Metaphor for existence.

This giant bear of a dog is consistently underfoot and slowly lumbering out of the way, and he's now been confused and contained by an inflatable dinosaur laid down between couches. Dog could easily step over, or push aside, but I think we broke its brain with this one

People never believe me when I tell them I really don't like Christmas and then show them a photo of my house.

A nighttime picture of a house decorated with Christmas Lights. It is a Two Storey house, and even the very top gutters are festooned with colourful threads of light. The display includes some very gaudy inflateable light decorations, such as a 3 metre tall Christmas Stocking Archway, and an inflateable Santa on the Second Floor. The decorations are attempted tastefully, but you can tell that the designer had to be restrained from her most extreme impulses by her husband who really didn't want to spend all day climbing carefully around the 2nd floor roof.

There is also a 3 metre long Brontosaurus on the roof of the garage, which was the husband's one request as it adds whimsy.

Left the house for daughter's swimming class in a rush this afternoon and can't tell if the weird side-eye looks I'm getting are for mismatched socks, ripped jeans, comfortable hoody, or crazy hair. Perhaps the ensemble effort?
