I've been dreading writing this post. Every time I type it, I get this unbearable, visceral feeling in the pit of my stomach, but I wanted to give you all an update. I will keep it brief. As much hope as we all had for her recovery, and as much as the doctors continued working on her as much as they could, it wasn't enough and my sister has lost her battle with liver failure.
