If Kamala Harris didn’t “earn your vote” please ask yourself if this is a better outcome. No candidate is perfect but HARM REDUCTION should be important for all of us.

There is no such thing as a protest vote, and refusing to vote isn't protesting, it's surrendering. Anyone trying to convince you not to vote is trying to manipulate you for their own ends, to use your gullibility to profit off of. Do not listen to them, do not trust them. Vote. Always. Period.
Not voting is not a statement.

It's rendering yourself invisible.
It is silencing your own voice.
It is self-marginalization.
It's allowing your future to be
determined by other people and
pretending that's a victory.
Register.
Vote.
Make a statement.

This is heartbreaking. Once again…there’s not a single good thing that came out of not electing Kamala Harris as POTUS. IDGAF if it makes you mad because the truth is ALL of this could have been avoided. The world is a dumpster fire & anyone that didn’t vote, voted 3rd party, or for GOP did this.

Why do I teach the difference between a Law (*what* will happen) and a Theory (*why* it happens)? Why do I spend a few minutes every year assuring students that Theories are just as "proven" and "true" as Laws? To inoculate them from the persistent bullshit of "that's just a theory" they will face.

Black and white photo of Dolly Parton (standing) and Jane Fonda (sitting) laughing janefonda I am devastated. I just learned that Dolly has moved on. I know that millions are mourning and I want to say this - more than anyone I have ever known, Dolly will always be with us because she was so present, so powerful, so generous and playful that she is woven into all our lives and hearts forever. We have our memories of her, her songs, Dollywood, "9to5," the millions of books she got into the hands of children, all the iconic images that bring her to us. And they are
all blessings. Let's be grateful for all that she has left us to ease our sadness now. I never knew anyone like her. She was simultaneously a naughty, playful southern gal from the hollows of
Tennessee and a deep, soulful thinker who could see through people right down to their true selves. She was many things... lyricist, songstress, player of many instruments, writer, prankster, visionary, loyal friend, who'd never go to bed before she and her friends had laughed so hard
they'd have to cross their legs.
She had a survivor's instinct and seemed to always know just what to do, just what to say, to make things right…..and then she's stick her butt out the car window and moon Kenny Roger's home. She was the voluptuous embodiment of empathy. That's something of hers she'd want us all to take with us.
To her gay and trans fans, I want you to know that she loved you. You know that without me telling you. She loved all her fans and they are legion. And you know she doesn't want y'all to mourn now. Dress up and celebrate her spirit. But first, watch the final episode of Grace and Frankie where she's an Angel, the head honcho working class angel in Heaven.
RIP, beautiful woman. We love you.

Facts.
Four frame comics. Every frame shows a crowd holding rainbow and trans flags, and features one sign. In the first, it reads : If you aren't willing to accept a trans or queer child, don't have kids. In the second : HRT is older than : Viagra, Lasik, heart transplant. Stop calling it "experimental." The third : More people regret getting a Harry Potter tattoo than gender-affirming care. The fourth : If gender is biological, why does it need a police state to enforce it?
