A friend of mine saw my classic style Atraxa Super Friends deck at work and was crying, she said it felt like a classic 2013 Commander deck, it played like a classic 2013 Commander deck, and it was so bad because it had a 2013 Commander four color deck mana base. AND IT WON. #mtg

A not red four color deck with massive Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, Garruk Wildspeaker, Theorist Jace Beleren, Elspeth, Sun’s Champion, Doubling Season, and Oath of Teferi. Ugin ultimated and got six lands into play and the Oath.

I love the game, but I also recognize why some people will bounce off of it. It is an auteur game that does not care about accessibility for everyone and it requires a tolerance for goofy elements coupled with moments of grim horror. You jump the hurdle or fail.
