On the *same day* the Cornell Seven drugged and raped Jane Doe, Cornell banned four students (including the President of Cornell JVP) from campus for three years for nonviolent, pro-Palestine protests. The same Cornell officials let the rapists off with apology essays.

Thinking back to my undergrad degree in drama and how few of us saw salaries to justify the expense by working in the field. It was a fantastic education that served us in other pursuits. Anthropology, real estate, teaching, law, medicine, entrepreneurship..... .

I was never encouraged to do this; I came up with it on my own. Asked students to use an LLM to research something they already knew well, so they could spot problems. They were horrified. It was the only semester I haven't received an AI-generated assignment. 🤷🏻‍♂️
