Yes, I've seen some of the abuse on this site for the stance I've taken. But it won't change my belief that this motion is gesture politics of the kind you might find in a students' union. Except in this case it has real and damaging consequences - that are already playing out. A massive self-own.

For the sake of a slogan achieving nothing except great concern and distress to British Jews, Green members have probably destroyed any hope that a party - their party - which consistently and clearly opposes the #genocide will join the next government. Genius. 🤦‍♂️ www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Consider getting two! Twice the fun and they have each other for company when you’re not round. Also a catio or enclosed garden might help with the road issue. Kitties who roam do tend to get into trouble a lot with traffic - there are ppl who go out of their way to run over cats

What‘s with the sudden boom in people of healthy weight getting their hands on GLP-1s for weight loss?? I totally understand usage for medical reasons but I’m suddenly seeing ppl who just want to lose a few kgs get put on them. Sure the weight melts off but so do their faces

I'm no Hipkins fangirl but it was a bit of a whiplash tuning into the last bit of the debate, seeing this come up, and then segue straight into the panel of Tova and the politics-knowers saying no-one won this debate, and even B*n Th*m*s absolutely dailing it in to say Luxon marginally won somehow

Regret to inform that multiple correspondents on RNZ's Facebook page suspect that the Green Party staged the whole thing. (By, I guess, hiring an anonymous stunt driver to drive around the barriers in front of an oncoming train, just as they announced the policy.) We live in the stupidest of times.

The image is of a four panel comic. The title reads "Poltergeist".
In the first panel we see a woman with a worried expression on her face. She says, "stuff keeps moving around my house."
In the second panel the same woman says "I'm terrified. I can't sleep."
In the third panel we see a ghost holding a candle and a pillow that reads "live laugh love". The ghost is zooming through the house.
In the fourth panel we see the same ghost hanging up a frame and thinking, "home decor is my passion".
