The world defaulted to an American-led world after WW2 bc no other country was able to. Not because the USA was better, but because it was all there was. Colonialism had stopped any third options. After the USA crumbles, I hope what's next is better: we've lost 50 years not fighting climate change.

The oil industry is unwilling to pay for this pipeline because even they know the world is moving away from fossil fuels. This project leaves Canadians bearing all the risks of a bad investment without any of the rewards.

Cleveland cliffs acquired Hamilton base Delco in a 3.4 billion cash in stock deal that closed in November 2024. In a news release announcing the deal still cause then CEO Allen Kestenbaum stated the transaction keeps national interest at the forefront and recognize the importance of the workforce .
