The full story of Archer's egregious behaviour didn't become public until after he appeared in Bridget Jones' Diary. The producers could have edited him out for the DVD or walked it back via a statement, but didn't, as a pretentious criminal at a book launch was "artistically appropriate". Huh.

Yeah, i said in simple sentences that the bot wasn't understanding me and wanted to speak to a human. The reply again was nonsensical. Joke is on them - straight after, I cold emailed a competitor who were about to advertise and said I'd fit the role. 😉

I got invited to take on a contract at a company and there was an AI interview before the person interview. I emailed the support address (also AI) asking why I needed an AI interview if their LinkedIn bot said I was suitable. The reply was gibberish. Fantastic. Great work, well done AI.

Last week someone in Korumburra had their car stolen and joy-ridden to Lang Lang. Despite the fact that the police caught and charged the offenders, there were posts on local forums about needing to be tougher on crime. Gina's Sturmbahnfuhrer has definitely picked her whistle targets well (sadly).

The theme of "if you two do the deed, you're getting married" was drilled into the DNA of so many 80s sitcoms. I knew that it was not always true, but it took until I was about 20 to realise it was utter crap. I've met plenty of people who never figured it out. Hope the next date is better.

There are pest companies who will install one way gates for possums to get out but not back in. They may do it for foxes. We have a colony of rabbits under our house. One of our cats has figured out where the kittens come out when they are big enough. Guess what happens next....
