I have been making a point of reading every book from book launches that my wife and I go to, regardless of topic. Some are way outside my comfort zone, but immersing myself in something new helps (even cheesy romantic comedies). (Reading this atm, it is fascinating and takes me away)

It's a great timeline cleanse. Birds are wonderful animals. This is a heavily pregnant magpie guarding her spot. Kookaburras, Crimson Roselllas and little birds love worms in this part of our garden too, but the magpie couple own it.

Yeah, The Bulldog was a breathing disaster in the making when we took her in. We had her nostrils widened, but she still snores like a tractor. She has insane bursts of energy but spends most days cuddling her sister.
