To tie in with the 300th anniversary of Gulliver’s Travels, I ranked film giants! My self-imposed rules: must be more or less humanoid-shaped & no giant gorillas or lizards. (The subs cut out the word "bollocks" & also described the Harry Potter film as "standout". But do I care? Not really.)

Jeanne Gibson, one of the last surviving Rosie the Riveters, died on July 29, 2026. She was 100 Years old. Born in Minneapolis in 1926, she was only 18 when she moved to Seattle to weld U.S. Navy destroyers at Todd Pacific Shipyards. Rest in peace, Jeanne

Early Noughties, pre-Springwatch, Bill presented the annual short-lived @mojomagazine.bsky.social Pub Quiz. It was in a dark period of his life, battling depression, but he was great; funny, acerbic, steeped in weird rock lore. A short gig but his daughter Rosie later told us he loved doing it.
