This is the fairest take possible I think. I respect Jacob for owning up to his mistakes here, but I wouldn’t blame anyone for not wanting to engage with his content ever again. Yes, people do grow and change, but nobody is owed a platform. Also, I really hope the victim doesn’t get outed.

The way I see the situation is this: -He sexually assaulted someone a decade ago -He says he's done everything he can to atone for that -We don't know anything about the victim, nor should we, this isn't about us -Theres no evidence of needing additional reprimand, aside from personal distancing

When someone's past crimes come to light it's more than fair to reevaluate your relationship with the person and cut ties, but that is a personal matter.
