We've closed the website and are not accepting any more purchases for the pack. Thank you to everyone who donated! We've raised over $5000 USD for The Palestinian Children's Relief Fund!!! In an effort to remain as transparent as possible, what happens to the money will be in the replies.

in 10 years i have never made a consistent income from this work and i am tired of designers from huge companies moodboarding and parasitising my designs while i struggle to make a living.

i don't have the resources nor the energy to spare to pursue this legally but i have lost count of the number of times a major company has deemed it easier to pay a designer to imitate or steal my work than to write me an email.

bungie is of course not obligated to hire me when making a game that draws overwhelmingly from the same design language i have refined for the last decade, but clearly my work was good enough to pillage for ideas and plaster all over their game without pay or attribution.

Mixing advice that is probably rudimentary but immediately fixed my mixes: For loudness-war genres, run a clipper instead of a limiter on your master I'm so serious rn trust me if you gain stage right it's so much cleaner and more powerful

a funny side effect of serum 2 having the upward compression in the ott off by default is that people are going to make more sounds that I want to hear until they figure it out.

1141

Kiralyte @kiralyte.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

ok so btw everyone Serum 2 defaults to having the master at -8 dB, which messed up my workflow so if you want to fix that: Initialize your serum, turn the master volume knob in the top right to 0.0 dB (about 70% iirc), save as default preset this got me running circles with my distortion steve

I didn't just cry during the premiere, I cried rewatching the premiere chat too, I've never felt that people view me on par with the rest of the scene but chat went fucking crazy for Cave and it has been more encouraging that I can put into words I'm gonna channel all that to bring you all more :)

Kiralyte @kiralyte.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

I wish I could message every single person who said something good about Cave whether it's in FSII Premiere Chat or anywhere just how much it means to me but I'd be really annoying by then Just know I've read all of your words and it means the world to me, thank you so much for liking my song <3

Electronic music production tip: If you pan your kick drum all the way to one side and the bass all the way to the other, both of those elements will have enough space to be clearly heard in your mix, which will make your track sound more professional.
