i don't have the resources nor the energy to spare to pursue this legally but i have lost count of the number of times a major company has deemed it easier to pay a designer to imitate or steal my work than to write me an email.

bungie is of course not obligated to hire me when making a game that draws overwhelmingly from the same design language i have refined for the last decade, but clearly my work was good enough to pillage for ideas and plaster all over their game without pay or attribution.

Mixing advice that is probably rudimentary but immediately fixed my mixes: For loudness-war genres, run a clipper instead of a limiter on your master I'm so serious rn trust me if you gain stage right it's so much cleaner and more powerful

ok so btw everyone Serum 2 defaults to having the master at -8 dB, which messed up my workflow so if you want to fix that: Initialize your serum, turn the master volume knob in the top right to 0.0 dB (about 70% iirc), save as default preset this got me running circles with my distortion steve

Yeah I was just sad that they had to employ a possession to do what they could've done just by breaking her which imo would've been more in line with the rest of the game She could still become just as violent as she was with enough happening to her I do love the dichotomy you bring up though

We didn't have Grinning Valley or any of the Banshees/Act II characters that give us a lot more of a look into that since it was the first mention, but now it's lost impact and feels a little superfluous since we see them a decent amount

Yeah I definitely think I've tended to dislike this part of the world building because I don't see the point in it aside from just being world building, so I tend to overlook it and get angry when it gets in the way of other stuff It probably worked better when the part came out and (cont.)

I think at the end of the day it just kinda had no reason to exist and the concept they had before is what frustrated me so I ended up nitpicking small details since I highly doubt I'll ever find a character I am that excited for ever again for many reasons But I get the point now ig

Also I said "relatively" minor since she'd already lost loved ones and witnessed massacres so it seemed weird that two events that in my eyes were on par or less intense than those were what broke her, but if it's aided by the snake trying to corrupt her that tracks too so I think you're right
