Nobody talks about how Lain is half film & half digital, so it's always changing frame rates. The show FEELS different on a CRT in 480i. Also, they COMPLETELY changed the colors for the HD releases. People aren't gaslighting you. The VHS version legitimately looks like a completely different anime.

As I misspell the name of the game (it's Tricolore Crise). Anyway what we gotta do is really support folks like Yuvi and all the translations of obscure games that are really cared for. Like don't you wanna play this weird little game?

There's a lot to love about Thunder Dragon 2, but perhaps my favorite aspect of it is the random shout out to Yumimi Mix in the default hi-score table. Not being a ギャルゲー may be an accurate assessment, but it's undisputed 神ゲ by any metric. Impeccable taste, NMK.

"ゆみみみっくすはギャルゲーじゃないってば", or in English: "I'm telling you, Yumimi Mix is not a Galgame!"

The development team of Battle Bird from 1986, a 3D arcade shooter from IREM developed in association with its parent company NANAO (now known as EIZO Corp.) The game was produced in small numbers but the 3D effects were said to be impressive for that era. (1/2) #アイレム

Finished up Emerald Dragon for the PC Engine. Boasts strong production values and a "unique" battle system, but the tedium sets in quickly after reaching Kasha Island. Didn't even bother doing the side quests during the epilogue, I just wanted it to end by that point
