Many people incorrectly call the bass drum “the kick drum” because they believe the drum is played by striking it with the foot. In fact the drum is hit by a beater attached to a pedal, but because this complex mechanism is obscured behind the drum, everyone assumes that the drummer simply kicks it.

A lot of electronic musicians go on about “LFOs”, but what they don’t say is that most of these “low frequency oscillators” fall outside the range of human hearing. We literally cant hear them! I am at my ultralight nerdiest when it comes to audio gear, because I have to carry that shit everywhere. I normally seal my stuff up with gasket maker, and have a decent set up, but is anyone aware of light weight and robust alternatives to the zoom h6? Or XLR cables that wont die in dust / sand?
