Someone just unsubscribed from my Substack - not because of the main topic of my article, but bc I talked about having Covid and they said they had to unfollow me as they believe viruses are not real. I am so worried about the scientific literacy crisis in our country. It makes us so vulnerable.

It's way too early to draw any conclusions from the early vote, but a few states have fairly sizable turnout so far. NJ is one, with about 100k votes cast already. Interestingly, the Dem share of votes cast is exceeding each of the recent prior elections, a good sign for Dems.

I love what Mamdani is doing here. But there is no possible way that hate crimes against Jews here exceed hate crimes against blacks here. Jewish NFL owners are segregating Kaepernick in plain sight, including the NY Jets & Giants. This city is heavily segregated against blacks in particular.
