If you're serious about game development or design, PLAY OLD GAMES I can't overstate how many good ideas are sitting there waiting to be discovered. Sometimes it's not even stuff that was there at the time, it's only there now looking from a modern perspective.

I still have not heard this song once, and didn't know it existed until it apparently broke a ton of records. Maybe it's been "incessant news coverage" for a pop music writer, but it hasn't scratched the surface in what's going on in the real world. There is simply a lack of monoculture
