Playing the battle simulator event in Arknights really solidifies that I shouldn't gamble. I'm so bad at it...

I have separated the art from the artist and am now whipping the art to stiff peaks, after which I will gently fold it into the artist before baking at 350 til golden and puffed

it’s come to my attention that my tumblr post has been crossposted to bluesky, so I’m posting it on my account here #AntiAI #GenAI

recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best.

It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.

Well I was going to stream but then I decided to watch all of Journey to the Quest, I'd never seen it before it's good.

Put in a rough order of when I played them! Not all of these have shaped me for the better but I can definitely tell you exactly how each of them have changed me. I do wonder if I hadn't gotten into lots of terrible f2p MMOs where I'd be financially right now...

An image showing 9 games which have shaped the poster. The games featured are Pokémon Blue, Hamtaro Ham-Ham Heartbreak, Pokémon Emerald, Habbo, Mabinogi, Journey, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, Final Fantasy XIV Online, and Infinity Nikki.

This news is important because all the fucks out there actively attempting to wreck the world want you to think that the work is hopeless and just mitigating the worst case scenario. It's not. Fucking keep going.

My roommate keeps buying the VERY EARLY christmas food at the supermarket like mince pies and gingerbread whatever. So obviously I'm helping her delete the evidence of early christmas... it just doesn't feel right ヽ(>¬ < )ノ

Another #Art from yesterday. This one I started a while back after me and my friend Nabi watched the Pokemon x Miku collab concert together ＼(≧▽≦)／ We're ready to battle!!

A digital illustration of three characters on a gradient background. The words "A Pokemon Trainer would like to Battle!" is written in a text box below them. The left character is the poster's OC posing with Ralts, in the middle is Hatsune Miku in her trainer outfit, posing with a microphone with Meloetta singing behind her, and on the right is Ana_Nabi posing with a Cyndaquil on her head.

#Art from today! I got a mystery pony design from @sometimeshelena.bsky.social and I loved it so much that I just had to draw!! The design from Helena is on the left, admonishing me and Kay Pony for being childish. I'm so happy the design looks so nice together with my ponysona~ #MLP #OC

A digital illustration of three my little pony style characters walking along a path. The new design, Lavender Rose, is on the left. She has tightly curled hair and is adorned with gold jewellery and a tiara. The posters pony-sona is in the middle, looking up annoyed at Kay Pony the Breezie.

It's actually so sad that Aniimo is full of undisclosed GenAI man. I really wanted to play the cute creature collector, but no. I thought maybe I'd play Palworld but I don't want the guns and whatever other horrors that game has going on. Maybe I really should just get a switch 2...

Will World of Warcraft Forever have a followable story? I didn't enjoy WoW because it just kinda threw me into the latest expansion story with no context and that's not what I want from a game. I like ffxiv mainly for the story after all. I wonder if I should give forever a try though o3o

Tool of revolution. #ffxiv #ff14 #ffxivart

Yotsuyu pointing forward with a stern look, shouting "Hey, you! Dumb-looking one!", referring to my auri girl Ronski, who stops on her tracks hands full of pitchforks. "What are you doing delivering pitchforks to my subjects like so?", she asks, to which Ronski replies, eyes glancing to the side: "Ohh, just easing up their farmwork is what I'm doing. Can't do any forkpitching without pitchfork!"

"Hoo", says Yotsuyu with her eyes closed, while Ronski is trying to excuse herself and continue on her way. "Let me see what does that item description say", says Yotsuyu and reached for the pitchfork, and causes Ronski to dash off screaming "Nnnooooooo".

Pitchfork item description: Useful for farming and demanding your basic rights.

An art of Astrel in her bird form. She has black and red feathers, with two long tail feathers. She is swooping down. She has gold bands on both her ankles and gold jewellery on her head. The background is a simple mix of dark browns and gold. The banner is a gradient red and black with simple patterns that shows gold materials.
