Via a word puzzle, learned a new word in French: ribambelle. Refers to a paper doll chain, with each figure holding the next one's hand. Expanded use: people closely behind one another (teachers followed by a ribambelle of kids) or a large amount (a ribambelle of things to do). Also, a swarm.
