If Republicans make massive cuts to Medicaid, it will impact all aspects of our health care system. Millions of kids will lose coverage, hospital and insurance rates will soar and nursing homes will shut down. All this in order to give huge tax breaks to billionaires.  NO CUTS TO MEDICAID.

One of the wonderful things about living in Minnesota is that there are still reasonable republican members in the State House of Representatives and Senate. 14 GOP members wrote to the US House members from MN asking them to spare the dramatic cuts to kids healthcare in MN. None listened.

Cost to attend med school is a huge burden if you aren’t well off. My wife ended up w/ ~$200k in fed loans at 6.8%. 10 years of public service & PSLF was a lifeline that enabled her to make it work (pediatric oncologist). $350k when forgiven, despite making payments for 10 yrs because of interest.
