Cyclists should obey traffic rules for sure. But change one rule "Cyclists are generally required to stop at stop signs, but in some states, "stop-as-yield" laws allow them to treat stop signs as yield signs when it is safe." No need to lose momentum when nothing is coming. Yield the Right of Way.

Drivers can see every achromatic colour (neutral colour) of vehicle but put that on a pedestrian or a person on a bike and we then become invisible? Maybe all cars should be cast in red, yellow & orange from now on. If you drive & can’t prioritize the safety of vulnerable road users, STOP DRIVING!

The cowardly act that took place at Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc yesterday is abhorrent. It has no place in this country. My thoughts are with everyone who is shaken and hurt by this disgusting display of hate.

This week, we will mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a stark reminder of our shared responsibility to confront the devastating legacy of the residential school system and the consequences still felt today. Courageous Survivors shared the truth so that all Canadians could take up the work of reconciliation.
