Fantastic to be at the first Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board meeting for Mastrick, Northfield, Cummings Park, Middlefield and Heathryfold. It is an honour to be the ward councillor on the board. £20 million over 10 years to deliver the improvements to the community that local residents want.

We were camping at Arisaig recently and I was astonished by the parking up the roadside a mile in each direction from Glenfinnan Viaduct. It was so unsafe. This has been a good series by @pressandjournal.co.uk www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/news/high...

9 out of 10 female councillors have experienced misogyny, harassment and abuse. That's appalling, but sadly it's normal. If we are to retain and recruit female councillors, society and the institutions that support us have to do better.

Today is International Workers' Memorial Day. A day to remember and honour those who have lost their lives at work and to continue to fight to keep our workplaces safe. This year's theme was around mental health, which is one I'm sure we can all relate to. #iwmd26 #FightForTheLiving

Thought this was a very interesting piece from Barry. I wasn't aware that the OBR had revised the revenue from VAT on private school fees up. I have had people tell me "this is the politics of envy" and that I was wrong to think private schools are businesses, so good to see this policy analysis.
