Fantastic to be at the first Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board meeting for Mastrick, Northfield, Cummings Park, Middlefield and Heathryfold. It is an honour to be the ward councillor on the board. £20 million over 10 years to deliver the improvements to the community that local residents want.

I think I have only one follower on here that lives in my ward, but this was a wee win that made me happy today! The Council marked out a bus stop on Stronsay Drive. Buses will be able to stop at the kerb and elderly residents will be able to get on more easily. #publictransport

Great experience on Saturday at Aberdeen runway run. It is somewhat peculiar though to run in the dark at midnight in a straight line! Weird, but good! The run supported two fantastic, local charities, Fersands & Fountain community project and Abernecessities. Thank you to everyone who sponsored me.

Over the years, I've frequently reported fly tipping at Sheddocksley community centre. I'm pleased that the Council have agreed to site one of the new pink small electrical item bins there. Council officers will monitor use and whether fly tipping improves.

25 November is the first day of 16 days of activism against gender based violence. There is #noexcuse for violence and it's shocking that violence is still so prevalent. It was sobering to march to demand greater safety for women in the Reclaim the Night march in Aberdeen this evening.
