Our International Walk to School Month research shows that parents are worried about unsafe speeds (42%) and heavy traffic (34%) on the school run. We’re encouraging families to walk or wheel to school this October to reduce traffic on the roads. www.livingstreets.org.uk/roadsafety…

Driving on the pavement is incredibly dangerous for pedestrians, especially blind and partially-sighted people, parents with pushchairs and young children, wheelchair users and others who use mobility aids. Pavements are for people, not vehicles.
