Life’s been hitting in a weird way lately. I lost a lot of my drive this year. People have exited from my story. Overall attitudes have been angrier/ more aggressive.

#Oracle came into #Wisconsin, didn't like our financial safeguards, sued over them, then dropped the case. Good! If your $15 BILLION #DataCenter can't meet Wisconsin's rules without putting ratepayers at risk, that's a YOU problem. Follow the rules or fuck off.🖕🏽

I hate living in "interesting times".

The Tintin and Haddock meme. They're at some kind of bar and the captain looks very stressed out and nervous.

Haddock: "Good lord, what a year!"

Tintin: "Captain, it's only February 1st."

I think I’ve grown apart from a lot of people in the past 2 years and it’s a really weird feeling to me. I hold no ill will towards anyone and I hope they don’t towards me. This is probably a weird thing that no one else does, but I keep a list of the people who matter most to me in my phone.

The absurdity that the answer to rising grocery prices currently is “just buy chickens, or grow your own produce” as if the people most affected by this have the space/time where they are able to do this is ridiculous.

The video game industry is so depressing. You can release a banger of a game that is hyper successful and still get laid off because the financial sector of your company decides they can cut corners by removing you.

I felt so blessed today to have the community I do. I know my streams are usually a place for people to relax and have fun joking about retro games, but when I got into deeper topics today and people were engaged with it and respectful of each other. I was elated.
