When I first read this issue, I didn't realize that the Kamara had previously appeared in Jack Kirby's The Demon #4 (1972). It took me about ten years to find out. The idea to reintroduce the Kamara came from artist Stephen Bissette @stephenrbissette.bsky.social, a huge Kirby and horror fan.

The Kamara, the Fear Monster, has been freed and has bonded with a boy at Abby's work. It is gorging off the fear of abused children. The Demon Etrigan has defeated the monster before and plans to kill the boy to send it back to hell, but Alec and Abby are going to fight to save the boy's life.

Etrigan the Demon crashes through a window, sending shards of glass throughout the room, and surprising Alec Holland and Abby Cable.
