The World History Encyclopedia lost 25% of its traffic since AI tools started surfacing its info. The web’s old deal (sites publish, search engines send traffic) is breaking. ChatGPT flipped the script, and now more sites will wall off content or die as ad revenue dries up. And the web gets worse
