Yes, yes, a real tour-de-force for Tom Cruise. However, what is the real gold here is it commentary on satire. With its incredible intentional set dressing and dual character roles it attempts to comm...

This movie looks very 2001 not only in its color grading, but also in its wardrobe and the technology it presents. I felt like I was back in high school. Visually, it’s interesting in the way it appro...

The animation is beautiful, it’s cute and it made me laugh at times. However, it’s way too cloying and sugary. It mechanically hits the “required” emotional beats you see coming from miles away. Ironi...

It’s well-observed about fan behavior and celebrity and all that. However, it doesn’t really feel like it has anything new to say. It spends too much time treading the same ground over and over and th...

This is far from perfect. You definitely don’t want to think too hard about the premise. The whole thing feels like it was written backward from the ending they wanted, and it still ended up way too c...

Two separate observations I made while watching this coalesced into one feeling. This feels like a 90s FMV educational adventure game. The smudged details from the painting feel like old video compres...

I was able to recite this entire movie from memory in English as a kid (and yet was not diagnosed with autism until 30 years later), so I can’t really rate this one without bias. Yes, there are some p...

The death of a Rotterdam man who was arrested by police on Saturday for purportedly riding a stolen fatbike has sparked unrest in the city after it turned out he was not who they were looking for. Pol...

“Is it a male or a female?” “In my case, sir, the question is totally without meaning” I had very high hopes from the start. I loved the avant-garde soundtrack. The 50s special effects looked so great...

It was different from what I expected based on the commercials and posters. It actually made me laugh several times, and it’s great fun, with strong performances from the voice actors. The plot falls ...

There's some laughs to be had here, but a lot of it has aged poorly. Also doesn't really have any coherence, feels more like a tv show than a movie.
