If you think an artist's style looks like AI but you can scroll back through their portfolio and see them doing the same work before 2020, congrats, you're not looking at an AI grifter. You're looking at one of the original victims whose entire style AI stole.

Apropos of nothing, #bcpoli, perfect is the enemy of good, and the death of decent - if flawed - politicians everywhere, regardless of party affiliation. Breathe. Rationalize your choices. Research. Compare records. Gather data to clarify your choice and vote accordingly.

Just in case you think I'm blowing smoke about the whole election thing in BC, these f$$kers are emboldened to behave like this because the calls are coming from inside the house. If you vote OneBC, or CPBC, these are the people who will run the government. #bcpoli cfjctoday.com/2026/09/27/a...

We moved to BC in 2021. After a lifetime in AB, incl. roots that ran 150 years deep, we didn't want to be where it didn't feel like we had a future anymore. The deep Conservatism had swung too far to the right with the UCP. And here we are, facing a similar future for our chosen home in BC. #bcpoli

The number of ill-informed parents using ChatGPT to demand accommodations for their kids this year is INSANE. I've had at least FIVE emails demanding to know where their funding is being spent. Don't do this. It's not how the system works, and I don't know where it's coming from. Facebook, maybe?

We don't eat much beef anymore - maybe twice a month - so we pay the premium for local, grass-fed beef...and here I am, today-years-old, learning that the imported (and cheaper) Aussie beef is *all* grass-fed beef...? Something is wrong with our supply chain. 🫤

Star Investigation: In the first half of 2025, donors gave nearly $190,000 — a jump for a party that reported zero contributions the year before. What’s more, the money came from fewer than 50 people, with more than half of them handing over $5,000, the maximum amount allowed under Alberta rules.

We lost a good buddy this morning. She was old, and it was still sudden. I'm not a dog person, but she was gentle and charming, and we could not have asked for a better pup to fill out our family mess. Feeling a little lost tonight and like to think she's running with the waves over the rainbow. 🐾🌈💗
