Chase doesn’t get whether Xavin is male or female because they keep changing physical characteristics. Gert explains that gender is social construct that can vary from person to person and that Chases’s problem is thinking in binaries because binaries are stupid. Carol in her Binary form shows up and is offended but Chase has no idea who she is.

It’s my stag do on Saturday and it was really important to me as a trans guy to have one because I missed out on a lot of other traditionally gendered experiences before I came out, but I handed it over to my mates to plan it and so only time will tell if that was brave or stupid
