I’ve know this for ages but lately (today) it’s hitting me anew the struggle I have with my relationship to like. Idk. Hoarding food and not eating it. Like I don’t Think I hoard excessively but I’ve definitely got more rn than I need for the next few weeks

buying tea when it’s on sale shouldn’t count as spending money or as adding to my massive tea hoard and backlog of tea I need to drink. and yet, here we are

After looking at the Yami Bakura's sequence for like the 10th time, I noticed that he is smirking at the very last second. This is a very important information to me.

I’m doing a lot of reading, which is nice. But I’m also doing a large variety of reading because I haven’t been able to really commit to a new book after finishing the hella awesome Of Monsters and Mainframes yet I’m juggling five new books already lmao??

Like, historically this would not have been how much I had written in a year like. At all. The hurdles and such. And yet I’m getting to a place where I can be true and speak and get words out and it’s so nice

I’ve been writing a plethora of fic this year, which is kinda wild because I’ve been so stuck with writer’s block-esque hurdles and such. And yet according to trackbear I’ve surpassed 50k words already this year !!!

i hate how much people care about their ships being "canon" now. spirk fans didn't publish zines full of fanfics in the 70s only for modern fandom to grovel at the knees of corporations and beg for things to be canon. use your imaginations, don't allow billionaires to think for you.

Ryou is coming home "I am home. Did you two break anything?"
"Happy birthday Landlord!!!"
Yami Bakura and Thief King are throwing confetti at him
"What?"

Yami Bakura: "What do you mean 'what'? Did you forget it was your birthday?"
Ryou cries.
Tkb: "You made him cry you moron!!!"
Yb: "Why?!"
Tkb: "I'm going to kill you!"
Yb: "Stop it you freaking idiot!"
Ryou: "It's okay, guys... I'm sorry. I'm fine. I was only surprised."

Ryou: "Thank you. It really makes me happy."
Tkb and Yb stops fighting and grab Ryou.
Tkb:Come on! There is cake and presents waiting for you!
Yb: And a monster world campaign ready to play.

The three Bakura are sitting at a table playing game while eating cake.

people who only think of shipping as romance cannot even conceive as shipping as thriller, shipping as horror, shipping as character study. very limiting worldview. you should expand your palate.
