#sojournuzbekica Some interesting textile notes!

An illustrated sketchbook page titled "Textiles & Carpets" breaking down traditional Uzbek rugs and fabrics. The top row shows hanging samples of Shyrdak (felt mats), Kilim (flat-woven), and Gilam (tufted) carpets alongside chibi-style characters explaining each technique. The bottom section features three detailed textile patterns labeled "Suzani" (floral embroidery), "Ikat" (vibrant dyed weaves), and "Zardozi" (ornate goldwork).

drawing of my friend's faerie xwee during my lunch break!! i have been having such a bad art block the last few months and this helped a lot to doodle an adorable pet custom!! #neopets #myart

Messy doodle of a Neopet, specifically a Faerie Xweetok, wearing a green dress. She has long brown hair and blue faerie wings, antlers, a leaf and yellow flower crown in her hair, and she is surrounded by three flying Ditrey, a type of bug Petpetpet in the Neopets universe.

I'm gonna be so honest there was no reason for re9 to not have Jill as its second protagonist, making the whole game nebulously about nemesis in the last five minutes makes it absurd that Leon is here at all, Sherry didn't even need to be here instead of hunnigan because she and Leon barely talk

I have just been told by my boss that I am likely about to lose the job that is my main source of income due to this. If that happens, I will lose everything. Please help. If I can raise this money in the next few days, everything will be okay.

Gotta be honest I don't love that the beastmaster quests hand us a bunch of bespoke gear that we can't put into the armoire I know most of it is not artifact armor but there's a lot of it and I would prefer not to throw it away and reclaim later 😔

This is what I mean when I say that its depressing doing art, writing fics, gposing, ect and getting crickets in response. "Do it because you like it" only goes so far when fandom is supposed to be nerds and creatives supporting each other.

Pro tip: you don’t have to comm artists to boost and support them. People claim they can’t support artists and creators because they are financially strapped, but they can still boost posts, comment, like, and in general just be supportive! It’s completely free outside of an internet connection ;)

does anyone else notice that neopets, like, they gave an unusually small amount of NC as a gift ages ago, and the average amount you could spend would leave you with a total of 60 NC and they make very sure their sales never allow you to purchase anything for 60 NC or less?

"larper" is such a stupid phrase in current era because it's being used to describe a lack of passion or dedication in something meanwhile actual live-action role-players are some of the most passionate and dedicated people i can think of it's like if we started calling fake furries "fursuiters"

PC totally bricked itself while I was out yesterday with 0 warning, because of course it did that right before I have to move and can't afford to fix it and I was thinking all morning long before it happened that I wished I had time to back up my files but I had to go out, so I didn't have time 🤪
