Endless thanks to Vassar Review for this startling and exquisite collection exploring "Frame & Forgery"—and for including my poem "The House on Colbert Street" alongside so many fantastic works of writing and art! I'm hypnotized by this ethereal cover! vassar-review.vassarspaces.net/wp-content/u...
Cover art for the 2025 issue of "The Vassar Review" with the theme of "Frame and Forgery." Art is "The Skinnydippers" by Anninka Tucksmith: oil on panel showing women (painted blood-red) skinny-dipping in a small body of water, painted in dark greens with a green and gold horizon.

Behold: My new candle
A silver tin with a blue label: Great Gatsby Scented Candle
Inside, you can see a very detailed white wax house, sitting on green wax grass, in a blue wax lake.Side of the tin reads:
Smells like champagne - because come on have you even read this book?
There are only the pursued, the pursuing, the busy, and the tired. Which are you?
a) Pursued
b) Pursuing
c) Busy
d) Tired
e) c and d

and a picture of a green lantern hanging off a dock, with the text: "Here is a green light for you to stare at"Interior pic of the candle: the blue wax "lake" almost looks reflective. The white wax house is multi-storied, with awnings and windows and steeples. From this angle, we can see a brown wax pier leading into the lake.
