I don't know, after taking a half-million grant for his Goodlocal venture during the pandemic and then quickly shuttering it, he can fade into irrelevancy. Tuxley now tries to get into his food bin when the pantry's open. He's having trouble keeping on weight as he approaches 16 so sometimes I do this intentionally, let him get a few good mouthfuls, then shoo him away.

My workflow for the game is kind of weird, but set in stone after 15 years. C++ in Visual Studio, XML/XSD/ini files in notepad++, Lua in vim.

Making a huge batch of pasta sauce from all the ripe cherry tomatoes and a leftover sweet onion. Pumpkin chocolate chip loaf in the oven. Not much else planned but to work on some 500 year old lute music later on.

Mega Man 2 is maybe the perfect NES game: bright and colourful, great/hard gameplay, incredible music. And Gorillas was a game we used to play in typing class in grade nine, modifying the source to play without sound, and how I got into QBasic programming.

Chrono Trigger is an all-timer. Final Fantasy Tactics is my favourite PSX game. Vega Strike was the space trader game I played during my miserable year in Ottawa, and to which I contributed some item ideas (they were added by one of the devs, uncredited, which never sat well with me).

Heavily skewed towards childhood & adolescence, obviously. FF1 and DW3 were formative RPGs. Star Control 2 was the first game I lost myself in. I was fascinated by Master of Magic at my friend's house, finally got it for my underpowered 486 years later.
