As a former young women, I understand lacking confidence in the workplace, but professional communication is an essential skill and by using AI she is missing out on practicing it. Also “emails” aren’t just a task, they are the means of communicating with another human. The human bit is the point

Using it to write emails is a bit pathetic imo (except sometimes in the case of dyslexia etc and non native speakers). Like I use it as lazy google, to help me code sometimes, and format stuff but I communicate as my human self, come on.

I heard a stat that women use it 25% less than men. Personally, I use it occasionally for specific tasks it does “well.” But yeah, blind advocacy for and hyper dependance on AI is miserably unattractive haha

I’ve been high(ish) earner before, and I’ve had full-time permanent contracts before, but those have always felt/been precarious. I’ve also voluntarily walked away from “on paper” stable situations because they would have not been good for me.
