It might surprise regularly attending patients in England just how little protection they have for their future NHS dental care. Many only realise when faced with a practice closure or conversion to private provision.

NHS Dentists don’t go on strike we just quietly shift the balance of our work. With continually rising costs, & huge professional fees the only option is to shift business focus towards private care. Increased litigation risk & treatment complexities adds to the move away from NHS dentistry.
